PATRIOT'S TERRITORY
ABOUT US
The Patriots Mountain Bike Team competes in the Alabama Cycling Association (ACA) interscholastic mountain bike league. Mountain biking is open to all riders, 6th – 12th grades for youth zoned for Bob Jones High School, which includes all Discovery Middle School students and home school students.
ACA has a mission to improve the lives of Alabama’s youth through the sport of mountain biking.

SOME MORE INFORMATION
The Patriots MTB competes in the NICA season (Oct-May) but feel free to contact a coach in the off season to find out more.
To ride, a bike, helmet, and water bottle (or camel back). We recommend you also have gloves and safety glasses.
COST TO RIDE
Other than your equipment (bike, etc).
ACA League fee – $175
This includes an insurance that covers all riders during practices and races.
Race fee - $100
NICA Race package (race fee) – this fee covers all 6 race events if you want to compete in the races. (race events may be canceled or rescheduled)
Team fee - $100
Patriots team fee covers a spirit wear, socks, water bottle, race day nutrition, end of season awards, and exercise classes.
**Thanks to our generous sponsors we were able to reduce team fees to $80 per rider for the 2021/2022 season**
Jersey - $60
New riders are required to purchase a jersey. Black shorts are to be worn with the jersey during races. Current riders may wear previous year's jersey.
